Take a unique journey through time which blends culture, history and agriculture beginning with native Hawaiian living to Hawaii's plantation days of yesteryear through today's farming culture. See Hawaii's largest producing Watercress Farm; then, sample a Portuguese donut, the Malasada, before heading to the northern side of Oahu. Next, visit Helemano Plantation with a walk through its garden filled with grapefruits, oranges and coffee beans; then, sample fresh cut pineapples during a pineapple cutting demonstration before heading to Sunset Beach, a favorite local hangout when traveling off the beaten path. At Kahuku Farms, an exclusive destination for Roberts Hawaii, you'll learn a bit of local farming history and taste apple bananas and Kahuku gold papayas grown right there on the farm. Here is where a catered lunch will be served featuring ingredients grown from the farm. Afterwards, you'll reboard the bus to reach Tropical Farms in Waikane where you can sample the wide variety of seasoned macadamia nuts prepared here daily.
